Founder

Kristin Benedetto founded BENE.luxic in 2017 having recognised that she derives a strong sense of personal purpose through professionally building business globally. A natural aesthete comfortable working directly with founders, CEOs and designers, Kristin has grown not only her own business with rapid yet sustainable results, but those of her clients.

Growing up surrounded by the buzz and excitement of New York, Kristin was always inspired by the city’s skyline; for her it represented energy, inspiration and opportunity. Having achieved her Bachelor of Science degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan, Kristin was perfectly positioned to develop her professional career surrounded by world-leading creatives.

Upon graduation, Kristin developed her skills under the close mentorship of Laura Slatkin, a serial entrepreneur in the home fragrance industry. It was this extraordinary access and experience that solidified Kristin’s passion for building a brand as well as a profitable business. Her driven approach to an evolving business strategy ensured priority focus was maintained while consistently challenging and incorporating new ideas at each and every juncture. Under Kristin’s careful stewardship and enthusiasm, in just five years, NEST Fragrances grew to become a multi-million dollar wholesale business.

In 2013, Kristin joined the luxury publishing house Assouline, directly responsible for their global wholesale distribution while simultaneously opening the house’s inaugural European flagship store and office in Piccadilly, London in 2014. As VP of Sales and Distribution within her first year with the company, it was then she also decided to make London her home.

Recognising London as a cultural epicentre, 2017 saw Kristin take her consultative hands-on approach to found BENE.luxic, the full-scope strategic partner to the luxury industry. Soon after, a productive Paris meeting with L’OBJET’s Elad Yifrach followed in Paris, which led the homeware brand to become BENE.luxic’s first client. As brand values were aligned from both sides, it was a natural fit for Kristin to represent the company internationally going forward.

From launch year on, Kristin and the BENE.luxic team have been steadily establishing their foundation clients, successfully growing the business internationally and consistently building a well-renowned portfolio of brand partnerships. The results speak for themselves.
